About
Totara Park Pony Club is the newest club in the Manukau district, the result of a merger between Takanini and Howick Pony Clubs in 1994. The club is situated on 12 hectares on the northern boundary of the Totara Park Reserve.
It shares this site with the Totara Park Riding for the Disabled (RDA) and the Totara Park Adult Riding Club. The Totara Park Equestrian Centre administers the site.
Our Pony Club is a small, family oriented Club. Our aim is to provide a pleasant learning environment for people to expand their knowledge of horses and gain new skills.
We encourage young people to ride and enjoy all kinds of activities related to horses.
Members of the Pony Club have access to the extensive, all-weather bridle path that runs through the whole of the Totara Park Reserve.
Some grazing is available on the Pony Club grounds.
